Ben – In Honor of Lenny Sniegocki
Ben received a scholarship for his involvement with the Capable Kids program. Bens scholarship was named in honor of our go-to guy Lenny for all of his hard work at ALL of the Project iAm events. You can either catch Lenny stapling, hanging, inflating, pounding, or duct taping something to help our events be the best they can. Lenny is a true hero and volunteer for Project iAm and now for Ben.
Michael – In Honor of Lexi Staples
Michael received funding toward his CHIP program costs. Michaels scholarship namesake, Lexi, is the artistic queen of Project iAm. Whether you ask her to whip up a small painting or help with a flier, within hours, we have a beautiful masterpiece to help make our events special. Lexi is also the founder of the Toledo Pride festival which uses Project iAm as its only charity for donations as well as for volunteers. Lexi is truly a special woman and Michael is lucky to have a scholarship honoring her!
Adam – In Honor of Jim Tressel
Adam is the lucky winner of the Jim Tressel Scholarship, which he will be using for his treatment at the CHIP program. Mr. Tressel has been supportive of Project iAm from day one and continues to send memorabilia for our auctions and raffles every year. Mr. Tressel has always shown us such generosity and class in his giving and we are so very sad to see him go. All the best for you Coach Tressel we are proud to have been able to even remotely return your generosity by naming this scholarship for Adam after you.
Devan – In Honor of Shelly Nyitray
Devan will be using his scholarship money to fund his Capable Kids summer program. Shelly Nyitray has been a long-time supporter of Project iAm since our first event. The thing is however, she volunteers and helps us all the way from Chicago! Shelly is so excited and has such enthusiasm when it comes to obtaining gifts for our auctions and raffles and does all of this work without ever having been able to attend an event. Shelly is a true giver and we are proud to honor her in this way.
Noah – In Honor of Jim Beeson
Noah is using his scholarship at the Rehab Dynamics Summer Camp. Jim Beeson was one of our first supporters and helped at our premiere event by allowing Project iAm to accept funding through the Collingwood Center Aquatics program. Jim has helped children with Autism express themselves inside and out of the pool and has been an avid volunteer and friend.
Ryan – In Honor of Ronnie Sayyah
Ryan is using his funding toward a communication device. Mr. Sayyah has been an avid supporter of Project iAm from the beginningeven though he lives in New Smyrna Beach, Florida! His graphic arts design has been the face for many of our posters, web materials, and merchandise. Ronnie even flew into town to volunteer for Acoustics for AutismPlugged In!
Grace – In Honor of Maumee Quickprint
Grace is using her scholarship money at the Toledo Hearing and Speech Center. Maumee Quickprint has been a great local business in uptown Maumee for years. They have shown so much generosity to us for our events that is has enabled us to save money and give it to children like Grace instead of using it for business expenses! Due to their dedication and hard work, we were able to successfully present Acoustics for AutismPlugged In!
Aidan – In Honor of Mickey Thompson
Aidan is using his funding at the University of Toledo Kinesiotherapy Center. Mickey Thompson is a special little boy in New Jersey who is living with ASD just like Aidan. Mickeys father has selflessly devoted time to Project iAm in honor of his son, including donating an amazing one of a kind item to Acoustics for Autism so that we can raise money to distribute to the children in our area, like Aidan. Thanks to Mickey and his struggles and accomplishments, we are spreading the good Project iAm name from coast to coast!
Joselyn – In Honor of The Lord Grizzly Brown
Joselyn is using her scholarship toward treatment at the Kaufman Clinic. If you listen to WIOT, you know who Grizzly Brown isbut if youve ever been to a Project iAm musical event, you know how much he supports us. Grizzly is one of Toledos most beloved radio deejays and we are fortunate enough to have him give Project iAm immense plugs whenever he can! Without his support and enthusiasm for our foundation, we would not have had the great success with our musical events that we have had. We love you Griz and keep Toledo rockin!
Aiden – In Honor of Joe Loeffler
In Honor of Joe Loeffler. Aiden is the lucky recipient of a scholarship and is using it for the CHIPS program. Joe Loeffler is one of our faithful volunteers who has dedicated his time and finances to Project iAm since our inception. Through all of his own tribulations, Joe has always been there for us no matter what physical pain he was enduring. Joe and his dedication to our charity will be greatly missed. Joseph Loeffler, March 8, 1961-January 30, 2011.
