Celebrating our scholarship recipients.

Every name on this page represents a story of perseverance, hope, and community support. Each recipient reminds us how your generosity opens doors and changes lives. Explore our scholarship recipients by year, and join us in celebrating the difference we’re making together.

Tori – In Honor of Greg Dumas and John Utrup

Tori is using her scholarship funding for her treatment at the Sensory Learning Center. Greg and John, although living in Chicago, have traveled hours to be a part of Project iAm events and volunteer every chance they get. They have been generous in their donations to the silent auctions and with their time. Our out of town support means more than you could imagine!

Ayden – In Honor of Kristen Reinbolt

Ayden will be using his scholarship money for the Mercy Autism Program. Kristen Reinbolt is the reason Project iAm has brought this area one of the biggest musical events to date, Acoustics for Autism Plugged in! As one of the managers of The Shops at Fallen Timbers, she has been our key person in bringing these fun concerts for everyone to enjoy. Kristen is the reason we have our concerts to share with our community!

Drake – In Honor of Sid Marious

Drake will be using his renewal scholarship for services at Mercy Autism Center. Sid Marious continues to be a huge support of Project iAm and spends countless hours at our events helping to make it special for everyone.

Kamden – In Honor of Kristin Kinney

Kamden is just starting ABA therapy with Jenna Vendemo and has made strides in his few short sessions! Kristin is an avid volunteer, promoter, and dance floor fluffer for Project iAm and all our events. Willing to do anything the charity needs, you will find Kristin gathering donations, selling raffle tickets, and anything else in between!

Alex – In Honor of Michael Glabicki

Alex is very excited to participate in the Summer Camp at the NUHOP Program this year with his scholarship money. Michael Glabicki again surprised the community when he brought himself, along with his entire band Rusted Root, for an impromptu, last minute performance which benefitted Project iAm. This fun night brought together Michael and Alex’s mother for a first time face to face meeting and a heartfelt thank you.

Nikolas – In Honor of Scott Hayes

Nikolas will be attending the Ann Arbor Center with his renewal of the Scott Hayes Scholarship. Mr. Hayes has been an overly active volunteer and promoter for the charity since 2009. He has brought us countless sponsors and introduced Project iAm to a new kind of publicity that we otherwise would not have had. He has also volunteered both as a worker and a musician at every event we have had.

Mekhi – In Honor of The Shops at Fallen Timbers

Mekhi received at home health care from Williams Homes, LLC. The Shops at Fallen Timbers has been our host to Acoustics for Autism…Plugged in! year after year. Their generosity and willingness to accommodate the charity in every way allows us to provide a family fun, inexpensive musical experience for everyone!

Kasam – In Honor of The City of Maumee

Kasam will be receiving his continued therapy with Dr. Baker-Bowen. The City of Maumee is home to Project iAm and its events. Without question, they have given us every opportunity to allow Acoustics for Autism to expand while keeping in its home of Uptown Maumee.

James – In Honor of Mick Mason

James is using his funding for ABA therapy with Jenna Vendemo. Mick has volunteered at every event as a musician as well as works with children with ASD through guitar lessons. He has always made time for Project iAm and the children we support!

Reed Boys – In Honor of Project Iam’S Holiday Contest

Project iAm had its first Holiday contest this year completely controlled by our fans on Facebook and Twitter! Congratulations to the winners. Please check out their stories below and visit our Facebook page for future contests.
