Austin – Renewal In Honor of Our Chicago Volunteers
Austin was one of our FIRST scholarship recipients ever in 2008! Heres an update from mom:Im writing this letter in appreciation for the generous scholarship money my son was awarded. He has aged out of the Ohio Autism Scholarship as of today. The process is very long to beginning receiving help from LCBDD for his adult day programming in which they will teach him living skills and take him into the community to learn hands on work skills as well. This money will help bridge that gap as school is his favorite place to be and not being able to attend for several months would have made Austin very unhappy. His school (GOAL) loves him and would really miss him as well. Hes doing great these days with GOALs help and is also working weekends as a greeter at Olive Garden. We are incredibly thankful for all the work your program and volunteers do. Weve attended events so that we can contribute in our own way as well. Thanks!
Mara – Renewal In Honor of Rachel Southworth
Mara is an adult now and thriving in the world! Project iAm financed a chicken coop for her sensory needs! Rachel is still supporting Project iAm in various ways, even while on tour and across the country. We are so grateful for the support of Rachel and all of Skid Row over all these years!
Samuel – In Honor of Kyle Smithers
Samuel is using his funding for the G.O.A.L. Summer Program this year! Who doesnt know and love Kyle Smithers? Kyle not only donates his talents to Acoustics for Autism, but he has helped behind the scene for years. It is our musical community that helps us provide funding for children like Samuel!
Grace – In Honor of The Kunzler Family
Grace is using her funding for ABA therapy and is new to the iAm family! The Kunzlers started off as mere volunteers for Acoustics for Autism and have become an integral part of our organization in the last three years spending countless hours making our events run smoothly. Without the help of reliable volunteers like Becky, Scott and their whole family, we would not be where we are today!
Kinsley – In Honor of Kurt Nielsen
Kinsley has used her scholarship money for various sensory friendly items required by her therapy instructor. You know Kurt from around town always at the big events with his cool photo booth and taking pictures! He and his team have been avid supporters of Project iAm for the last several years and have donated all of their proceeds to our scholarship fund. Because of people like Kurt and his company, children like Kinsley can get the support they need!
Cayden – In Honor of Tony Bishop
Cayden is using his funding for Saras Garden Summer Program. We could not put on Acoustics for Autism without the help of our sponsors. Tony Bishop and his company were the very first full event sponsors that we ever had! They have continued to be the premier sponsor of Acoustics for Autism and their team shows so much pride being involved with such a great event. We are so lucky to have loyal people like Tony and Clearview Tinting behind us 100% of the way!
Fynnegan – In Honor of Marty Goff
Fynnegan is a new member of our iAm family and is using his scholarship for the New Horizons Summer Program. You can catch Marty at just about every music event in town, but his loyalty to Project iAm is unwavering. Martys family has been an avid sponsor of our organization for the last several years and without their support, much of our overhead would be spent on putting on our event instead of helping children!
Tyler – Renewal In Honor of Kyle White Lay
Tyler is using his funding toward drum lessons and tutoring lessons! Kyle has been a musician with us at Acoustics for Autism since day one. She has followed Tylers journey and is going to be so excited ed to see that he is following in the iAm way of thinking that music transforms us all. We are so lucky to have Kyle as a volunteer, musician, and friend of Project iAm.
Raekwon – In Honor of Local 500
Raekwon is getting much needed safety improvements at his home with his scholarship funding. Local 500 has been a recent donor and sponsor of Acoustics for Autism helping us with our overhead costs. Without such important and devoted sponsors, we would not be able to dedicate all of our proceeds to help children like Raekwon!
Gabriella – In Honor of Carol Dailey
Gabriella is using her therapy for ongoing treatment at Defying Odds Therapy. Carol has been a staple at Acoustics for Autism since day one! Her volunteer time has increased over the last ten years always helping with pre-event work and slinging that merchandise the day of! Without the consistency of volunteers like Carol, we would not have the great team of volunteers we do!
